This outstanding skillets/ frying pansare high quality cast iron manufactured by craftsmen to exacting standards. it's attractive, yet vitreous enamel surface is easy to clean, hygienic and will give years of excellent service. These skillets/ frying pans are suitable for all heat surfaces, i.e. Gas, Electric, Soild Plate, Halogen and Induction ( particular care should be taken with ceramic hobs as these are easily scratched).
Use and Maintenance
Select the ring or hot-plate best suited to the bottom of the utensil.
Select low to medium heat for best results.
Prior to use, gently pre-heat on low heat for few minutes then add oil or liquid to the pan.
It is recommended that wooden, plastic or heat resistant nylon tools are used in order to avoid scratching the enamel.
Use oven glove or cloth to lift metal pans or any cast iron utensils from the hob or oven
Hot pans and other utensils must be placed on a trivet, board or cloth in order to avoid damage to unprotected work tops.
Cleaning …
Cool pans before washing in hot soapy water with a nylon brush and washing up liquid.
Do not use scouring powder, knives or cleaning pads
Dry pans and utensils thoroughly after washing up.
Do not leave to drain or put away whilst still damp.
